Al-Qadri Agricultural Nurseries were established in 1967 by Hajj Ahmed Abdul Rahman Al-Qadri (Abu Oqab). The nurseries cover an area of 650 dunums in Jerash. We began by producing olive seedlings in particular, and fruit seedlings in general. These nurseries started six decades ago in the trade of these plants, and then moved to the production of fruit and forest plants, as well as the production of all varieties of olives and ornamental plants, until they became today one of the largest nurseries in the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan.
Al-Qadri Nurseries are considered among the oldest and largest agricultural nurseries in the Kingdom and the Arab region. After studying the market and its needs, our nurseries began importing varieties that are compatible with the nature and climate of the region, taking into account economic feasibility to enrich the agricultural sector in general. Over the years, Hajj Ahmed Al-Qadri was keen to produce most external varieties to ensure the continuity of the variety and avoid total reliance on imports, to reduce costs for farmers, and to encourage diversity and expansion as much as possible in line with the nature of the region.
Hajj Ahmed Al-Qadri instilled in his sons the spirit of perseverance and determination despite the difficulties that faced the production process. Through experience, practical expertise, and the necessity of meeting the needs of the agricultural market, Al-Qadri Nurseries have become a leader in producing and providing all seedlings, and keeping pace with the requirements of this sector, which is considered one of the basic pillars of any society.
As with any successful institution, perfection and honesty in dealings - by the grace of God Almighty - were the reasons for Al-Qadri Nurseries to become a registered trademark in most Arab countries, where it provides varieties that are compatible with the climate of neighboring countries, especially the Arabian Gulf. With the help of God Almighty, we will continue to keep pace with everything new in the world of agriculture and meet what is necessary for this blessed and distinguished field.
