To the Arabian Peninsula and Egypt
Also present in Socotra Island and Algeria
Tolerates harsh conditions
Suitable for central Arabian environments
Has dense shade
Young leaves are bright red
Appear like flowers from a distance
Used for landscaping
Acts as a good windbreak
